Domański Zakrzewski Palinka advised Mr Maciej Sadowski, founder and owner of Magodent sp. z o.o. upon the sale of eighty percent of shares to LUX MED Group.

Magodent has been operating on the market since 1996, and in Warsaw since 2008. It runs two hospitals specialising in treatment of patients with cancer as well as a cancer treatment clinic, admitting ca. 60 thousand patients a year. In 2015, Magodent concluded a contract with the National Health Fund for the highest amount among private entities.

The purchase of the eighty percent of shares in Magodent will enable LUX MED Group to provide health care to patients suffering from cancer at every stage, from basic health care, to diagnostics, to oncological treatment, to follow-up care after cancer treatment. This transaction is one of the most important events on the Polish medical market and the largest acquisition on the Polish healthcare market in 2015.

Our experts provided comprehensive assistance on the share sale transaction, including especially drafting and negotiating the transaction documentation.
