Przewozy Regionalne buys new electric multiple units

We provided full-range legal assistance to Przewozy Regionalne sp. z o.o. in a contract award procedure for the purchase of modern electric multiple units.

We advised the client at all stages of the procedure. As this was one of the first large procedures, not only in the rail sector, conducted after the Public Procurement Law was amended, the lawyers working on the project often had to make interpretations of the provisions of EU directives.

Suppliers of trains to Przewozy Regionalne will be: NEWAG SA and Pojazdy Szynowe PESA Bydgoszcz SA. The total value of the contracts is over PLN 119.5 million.
