DZP carries out first remote closing during coronavirus pandemic

On 31 March 2020, DZP advised on the finalisation of the sale of 100% of shares in a company whose activity involves the purchase and slaughter of cattle. Due to the danger posed by the coronavirus pandemic, the closing took place without the participation of the lawyers of the parties to the transaction.

Our advice in this project covered comprehensive legal services for the transaction on the part of the sellers, including preparation of transaction documentation and support in negotiating and finalising the sale. The transaction closing took place without the participation of the parties' advisers, and the signatories entered the notary's office and signed the documents one by one. This was the first closing prepared and carried out remotely in DZP.
