DZP has advised EnerCap Power Funds on the sale of a 22 MW onshore wind farm in Ścieki to Macquarie’s Green Investment Group (GIG).
As a result of the transaction, EnerCap Power Funds, managed by EnerCap Capital Partners, sold the Ścieki wind farm, located in central Poland, to Green Investment Group. The wind farm, which has been operating for over eight years now, consists of 11 Vestas V90 2 MW wind turbine generators.
EnerCap Power Funds are managed by Enercap Capital Partners, a specialist clean energy investor and adviser with a focus on the CEE Region. The fund provided equity financing for over 420 MW of wind and PV projects in Croatia, the Czech Republic, Romania and Poland. The Ścieki wind farm was acquired by the fund as their first wind project in Poland in 2009 and its construction was completed in 2012.
Curo Energy, EnerCap groups new specialist advisory company, will undertake initial commercial operations of the Ścieki wind farm during the handover to GIG.
Advice was provided to the client by a team led by Rafał Hajduk, Partner and Head of DZP’s Energy Team, and comprising Natalia Plaskiewicz, Michał Pytkowski, Anna Konopka and Karina Krzoska.
