Innovative contract between PKP Intercity SA and T–Mobile SA signed on

PKP Intercity SA has signed a contract with T–Mobile SA to provide internet and multimedia access to passengers on PKP Intercity trains.

The co-operation model adopted by the two companies will give passengers not only WiFi internet access but also enable them to use multimedia such as 40 films, 15 serials, 10 cartoons and also games and music. This content will be regularly updated.

These services will ultimately be provided in 450 carriages on the most popular domestic and international routes. The project is highly innovative and was based on the best global examples of multimedia and internet solutions in the rail industry.

DZP advised PKP Intercity SA on each stage of the project – from preparing the legal implementation structure through preparing and running a public procurement procedure to representing the company in negotiations with contractors and drawing up the final contract.
