Wielton takes over German Langendorf Group

We advised Wielton SA, the largest trailer and semi-trailer manufacturer in Poland and one of the three largest in Europe, on the acquisition of 100% of shares in the German Langendorf GmbH. The Langendorf Group manufactures trailers, semi-trailers and special vehicles for transporting, e.g. glass. The Group operates in Germany and has a Europe-wide service network.

Our legal advice to Wielton covered all aspects of Polish corporate law. We also negotiated the transaction documents and coordinated the activity of the German legal adviser, the law firm Luther.

The acquisition of the Langendorf shares will enable Wielton to expand the Group’s offer, increase revenue and enter a highly important market – the German market. In 2015, Wielton took over sector competitors in France and Italy, which strengthened its position as one of the leading European trailer manufacturers.
