AIJA’s International Arbitration and Healthcare double seminar

The ‘International Arbitration and Healthcare double seminar' will take place in Berlin from 6 to 8 October. It is organised by the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) and DZP will be a partner of the event. The seminar will address public procurement issues in the face of changes in the European healthcare sector and new challenges in the area of arbitration that lawyers will be facing in the near future.

On behalf of DZP, the seminar ‘Healthcare Sector in Transition - Is Public Procurement an Ally or an Enemy?’ will be attended by experts from the Public Procurement team: Katarzyna Kuźma, Partner and Team Leader, and Michał Gajdek, Senior Associate.

Katarzyna will moderate the panel ‘Once a supplier, always a supplier?’, in which participants will discuss the challenges and benefits of maintaining a relationship between a medical product supplier and a customer from a procurement perspective.

Michał will be one of the participants discussing sanctions against Russia in the context of public procurement. The practical aspects of their implementation and their impact on public procurement rules, contracting authorities and contractors across the European Union will be addressed.
