On 3 September 2008 the opening and inauguration ceremony of the Legal Aid foundation was held, with the law firm Domański Zakrzewski Palinka as one of its founders.
The aim of the “Legal Aid" foundation is to provide assistance to people in the legal environment, in the widely understood meaning of the term, that find themselves in need for various reasons, e.g. due to serious illness. The Foundation’s mission is to help those who, despite the adversities of fate, wish to return to their profession. The Foundation will also help those who want to graduate in law or finish professional training and show special determination in overcoming, e.g. disabilities or material limitations.
A group of around thirty Warsaw law firms will be taking part in the Foundation’s work, and each law firm has appointed one of its partners to act as founder. List of the “Legal Aid" Foundations’ founders:
