Together with InCredibles and Kulczyk Investments, the Warsaw School of Economics has launched a Master of Business Administration for Startups, the first MBA course online in Poland. The course combines academic knowledge with Sebastian Kulczyk's InCredibles mentoring programme and is aimed at young entrepreneurs operating in the startup environment. The two-year programme is delivered in Polish and English by lecturers, trainers and business practitioners.
During the course, students will have the opportunity to learn how businesses operate by analysing cases of Polish and international companies and their founders. It is also an excellent chance to network and exchange innovative ideas with mentors and potential investors, and to support and stimulate budding ideas by working in changing teams under the guidance of lecturers.
Other of the WSE’s knowledge partners for the MBA for Startups Online are academics from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and business practitioners, apart from DZP, Google, the Inovo VC fund and Singularity University.
DZP's cooperation with the course organisers was initiated by Aleksandra Auleytner, Head of the IP&TMT Practice. She and Maciej Zajda, leader of the DZP Future project, which supports Polish startups, are responsible for preparing legal aspects of the creation and operation of startups.
Our experts will introduce participants to, e.g. key clauses and principles for negotiating term sheets/investment agreements, legal and organisational forms and financing models for startups, industrial property issues in their operations, principles for setting up and accounting for incentive schemes, principles for company taxation and venture capital relief, and the process of negotiating and performing agreements relating to intellectual property.
Recruitment is currently underway for the second cycle of the course. Detailed information and the recruitment form are available on the course website.
